In the current context of digital transformation<\/a>, more and more companies are looking to automate processes and get real-time analysis of their data<\/span><\/strong> to optimize their daily efficiency and thus improve their performance. Microsoft remains at the forefront of innovation in addressing these needs through the development of tools like the Power Platform.<\/p>

Currently, many companies work with several independent solutions that cover very specific needs. Despite these tools, processes are not optimized because the solutions are not integrated. With the Power Platform, Microsoft breaks the technological barrier on application integration by offering a natively integrated platform<\/a>.<\/p>

The Power Platform is a set of Microsoft tools that allows you to develop intelligent and automated applications<\/strong><\/span>, and without the need for prior programming knowledge. It is a series of cloud solutions for companies looking to join the digital transformation and automate their processes without the need to code.\u00a0 The Power Platform includes 5 tools:\u00a0<\/p>

Power BI<\/h3>

Power BI is the leading business intelligence solution<\/strong><\/span> on the market. With Power BI, you can reduce the amount of time you spend obtaining data so you can spend more time driving your business forward. You’ll be able to make trend-based decisions with the information provided by Power BI. You’ll also be able to remove the complexity of managing multiple analytics solutions with a single, unified platform that gives all employees quick access to data – all powered by artificial intelligence.<\/p>

Power Apps<\/h3>

Power Apps is a low-code development platform<\/span><\/strong> where native applications for mobile and tablet devices can be created and integrated with many databases thanks to the various connectors of the Power Platform. The platform allows the creation of simplified and optimized interfaces to increase the productivity of the company: each user can therefore easily create his own processes and applications. The applications can be integrated into different Microsoft environments such as Dynamics 365, O365 or Azure.<\/p>

Power Automate<\/h3>

Power Automate is a tool focused on automating processes and tasks that are usually done manually. Power Automate allows you to model business processes and automate workflows<\/span><\/strong> in your applications and services (from simple automation to more advanced scenarios). There are approximately 423 different connectors – 275 of which are predefined – in the tool that can integrate with Microsoft solutions as well as many external tools and applications. These connectors allow you to design and plan the execution of business processes in a simple way.<\/p>

Power Virtual Agent<\/h3>

Power Virtual Agent is the tool created by Microsoft to make it easy to create conversational bots in a simple, fast, and intuitive way<\/span><\/strong> without having a deep knowledge of programming or artificial intelligence. Many of your customers’ questions can be solved with relatively simple answers. These questions are frequently repeated, so why not automate the answer? These conversational bots can be distributed across many different channels, from any website, mobile app, social network, or communication tool such as Skype or Teams.<\/p>

Power Virtual Agent has several advanced features that allow you to extend the capabilities of the conversational bot beyond just conversation by giving more flexibility to what your end users can ask the bot.<\/p>

Power Pages<\/h3>

Power Pages is Microsoft’s newest addition to the Power Platform portfolio. The company announced this new tool for creating websites<\/span><\/strong> in May 2022. It is ultimately the evolution of the already existing “Customer Portal” in\u00a0 the Power Platform. There is no shortage of web design tools on the market, but Microsoft touts Power Pages’ integrations with its existing services as the main differentiator. In addition, the tool will simplify site management by implementing the “low-code\/no-code” logic characteristic of Power Apps. Other highlights include the Power Pages design studio, which provides tools to style, configure, and publish modern web pages focused on your company’s data and business needs.<\/p>

All tools in the Power Platform work with a single data model (Microsoft Dataverse, ex-Common Data Service). This is a homogenized and secure database system on which all other applications are based. The use of a single repository reduces all duplication problems, bringing the concept of unique data to its maximum expression. The aim of the Common Data Service is to be able to digitize processes in an orderly, centralized, and controlled manner from a single point.<\/p>
